Arc Ultra
"The best soundbar Sonos has ever made — and probably the best soundbar money can buy right now." — TechRadar, 2025
The soundbar that turns your living room into a proper cinema — without pulling a single cable through the wall.
£999.00
- Sound that moves with the action — Sonos' Sound Motion tracks what's happening on screen, so explosions feel like they come from the right place, not just in front of you
- Rain actually falls from above — true overhead height channels via Dolby Atmos and DTS:X put sound where it should be, not just around you
- One cable, everything works — a single HDMI eARC connection to your TV is all it takes; stream via AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect or the Sonos app from any room
- Grows with you — add a Sonos Sub for more bass, or Era 300/100 rear speakers for a full 9.1.4 surround system whenever you're ready
Our verdict
Why we put the Arc Ultra in our range
The Arc Ultra is what happens when Sonos stops playing it safe. Previous Arc models were excellent — but always felt like they were holding something back in the bass department. Sonos' new Sound Motion technology genuinely changes that. For the first time, the Arc can track what's on screen and adjust how sound moves around the room in real time. You feel it most during action sequences: a car chase, a thunderstorm, a crowd. The audio follows the picture instead of sitting behind it.
Setup is where Sonos has always won, and the Arc Ultra is no different. One HDMI eARC cable. The Sonos app finds it, tunes it to your room using TruePlay calibration, and you're done. No receiver, no speaker wire, no manual EQ. For most people, this is the right amount of system — and for those who want more, the Sub and Era 300 rears are there when you're ready.
Music sounds genuinely excellent too: wide, open and properly detailed. It's not trying to simulate surround — it just sounds like the recording.
